The last thing I want to do is harm someone with my writing. THIS ACCOUNT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR MINORS.  002   My accounts are and always will be a safe place for me. I reserve the right to block those who make me uncomfortable. Bringing drama my way, being rude, racist, homophobic, ableist or transphobic will get you blocked. I always put my real life first. However, i will always give notice if a reply will take longer than a week. I will participate in writing lewd upon request, only given that both the writers and the characters are the appropriate age. It will not be written with anyone under the age of eighteen for obvious reasons, and so your honesty involving this is a must. There must always be chemistry otherwise I find it pointless & boring.

backstory.

For her entire life, Daphne had loved the moon. There was just something about it that she found comforting, soothing. Perhaps it was because the moon never disappeared, it always lingered somewhere. And unlike the sun, who disappeared when it got dark; the moon chose to shine in the darkness instead. It chose to spread light over the darkest parts of the world. Even when her parents' fighting got too loud or when his father's harsh words turned on her, Daphne knew that everything would work out for the better. She knew that one day the moon would shine its beautiful light all over her life and erase the darker parts. But she also knew that just waiting around forgot you nothing, you had to work for what you wanted. So, three days after her fifteenth birthday, Daphne packed a bag and waited for her mother to leave for her late shift at the local diner and for her father to finally pass out drunk before leaving her childhood home. There was a note left upon her mother's pillow, scribbled in her messy handwriting.‘ Please don't worry about me, I'll be okay. This wasn't your fault, I love you. If you ever miss me just look at the moon and know that I'll be looking at it too. ’And with that, Daphne set off into the night. She ran as if she was running towards the moon itself. Never staying in one place for too long, never allowing herself to have attachments. Even as she fell pregnant, Daphne continued to run. Her son was born three months after her sixteenth birthday and was named after a character from the stories her mother used to tell her; Silas. From then on, Daphne adapted her life around her son. They stayed a little longer in towns, staying in apartments Daphne would rent rather than motel rooms. And for five years, things stayed like that. Just her, Silas and the moon. Bouncing from town to town, exploring the world. That is — until Daphne fell in love with a man named Jack. Jack was smart, funny and he adored Daphne. He was good with Silas too, perhaps that's what made Daphne fall for him. Seeing how good he was with her son. Daphne was smitten, head over heels and everything else they say about love in fairytales. But this wasn't a fairytale and Jack wasn't a prince. He was, however, married. And very, very rich. If he'd informed Daphne about his wife, she never would have stayed with him. Never would have introduced him to her son. And when Daphne found out, her heart broke. For the first time ever, Daphne experienced heartache. She’d gone to surprise him with the good news when she saw him kissing another woman. And when the sun bounced off the large diamond on the woman's finger, Daphne turned and fled. She did what she did best. Daphne packed up her and Silas’ life and purchased a campervan. In the middle of the night, Daphne and Silas disappeared into the night just as she'd done when she was fifteen. Except this time she wasn't alone and it wasn't just Silas that was with her this time. Nine months later, in a hospital while Silas stayed with a friend, Daphne gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Daphne named her after the goddess of the moon; Selene. They remained in the town where Selene was born for the longest they'd ever stayed anywhere; a whole year. And then, like always, they continued on. It remained like that for twelve years. They would never stay in one place for more than six months, either living in their camper or finding an apartment. Daphne would work various jobs, Silas would bounce in and out of various schools, as would Selene once she was old enough. Their lives were good, at least to Selene. She adored being able to see so much of the world, to learn all different kinds of things and meet a multitude of interesting people. By the age of seven, Selene had become quite the artist. She was an excellent painter and very talented sketch artist. She also happened to be quite skilled in the art of pickpocketing. Her mother taught her everything she knew. Music, baking, how to get away with lying. Daphne taught her daughter how to survive the way she'd had to learn. Three months before Selene’s thirteenth birthday, Daphne took them back to the town she'd met Jack in. The truth was that they needed money and Jack was probably the easiest way to get a large amount. She found them an apartment, moving them in and enrolling both of them in the local school. Daphne snuck her way back into Jack’s life, bringing all the proof she needed that Selene was his. Ammo to burn his entire life into the ground.A month after Selene’s birthday and a week after Silas’s graduation from highschool, while he was working late at a nearby diner, Selene was woken up by a large crash in the living room. She'd slipped out of her room and down the short hallway to the living room. It was there that she found a man crouching over her mother’s figure. Daphne lay on the floor, arms covering her face as the man above her gripped her by the wrists. Selene took a step back, the floor creaking under her and alerting the man to her presence. Daphne called out for her daughter to run but Selene couldn't move, especially not as the man turned toward her. She completely froze as he moved closer, that is until the moonlight bounced off the knife in his hand. Selene lifted her arms to protect herself, a scream leaving her as the blade sliced across her forearms rather than her face. Everything else happened so quickly. When Silas came home, Selene was sitting on the front steps of their apartment building, forearms bandaged as people wheeled their mother away in a body bag. Silas immediately became Selene’s guardian, given that he was eighteen. They stuck around long enough to send Jack to prison before doing exactly what their mother had taught them; packing up the caravan and running away. It was different this time. Instead of just going wherever Daphne wanted to see, they followed job opportunities for Silas. It led them to a city where Silas could work and get a degree and Selene could go to a good school. The caravan was put into storage and an apartment was rented, Silas said it was time to stop running. Selene told him to shut up.The loss of their mother hit both of the Hart children in different ways. While Silas threw himself into work and getting a degree, Selene threw herself into feeling absolutely nothing. Weekends were spent at clubs, even though she was only fifteen. Selene fell into a troubled life, one filled with drugs and bad decisions. She acted out in school, got into fights and spent most of her time either high, drunk or asleep. Everything came to a boiling point when Selene was caught stealing some guy's wallet from a club. Silas managed to talk the police out of charging her and once again, packed everything they owned into their caravan and once again — they headed out. Silas had gotten his degree in business and decided that a big city wasn't the best place for Selene. He did his research and soon enough he found a small town to open his own store in. Hawkins, Indiana was to become their new home. Silas used the last of their money to buy both his store and a trailer inside Forest Hills Trailer Park. Selene moved their camper into the lot beside his trailer, making it into her own space. While Silas worked on setting his store up, Selene was shoved back into school. She tried to keep to herself, not believing her brother when he said this was their home. That they'd be staying. However, Selene happened to meet one person that wasn't put off by her cold attitude. Before Selene even realised it, her and Robin Buckley had become fast friends. And when summer rolled around, while Robin went to work at Scoops Ahoy!, Selene found herself a job at a donut store within the mall. One day, when Robin comes to Selene and asks if she speaks russian, Selene finds herself being dragged into a whole different world of trouble than what she was used to.

seasons.

season three.

The season we first meet Selene. Her first on screen appearance is when Robin drags her into helping them translate the Russian message. However, behind the scenes, Selene has been rather busy. The few months before summer, Selene and her brother Silas had first moved into Hawkins. Specifically into Forest Hills trailer park. While her brother began setting up his hunting store in town, Selene focused on school and securing a summer job. It's in one of her classes that she first meets Robin and they become close. Behind the scenes, Selene also befriends one Eddie Munson, bonding with him over their shared love for good music. She ends up finding a job at a donut shop in The Starcourt Mall, which leaves her smelling like freshly baked dough and had her wearing an ugly pink and green uniform but paid good enough. It also gave Robin the opportunity to find her when needing help translating a certain Russian code, dragging Selene into the upsidedown drama.

season four.

In season four, Selene has grown since we last saw her. Her experience with the mindflayer had her remembering just how short life really was. Her already established friendship with Eddie leads her even closer to Dustin and Mike when they join Hellfire. She spends most of her time partying, trying her best to numb the worry of something bad happening again.Of course, it isn't long before she's pulled back into the danger and drama surrounding the upside down when Chrissy Cunningham is found dead and one of her best friends is the assumed killer; something she knows could never be true.

season five.

In season five, Selene is surrounded by grief. Almost drowning in it. Not only did she loose Eddie, but she also lost her brother when the earth cracked in four. While everyone had their own jobs, Selene needed a distraction more than anything. Hopper enlists her help as a former gymnast to help with training Eleven occasionally but most of her time is spent keeping her brothers hunting store up and running.MORE TO BE ADDED.
